Born in 1952, Tom Everhart is an American artist renowned for his unique blend of traditional fine art and the beloved comic strip Peanuts. Despite lacking formal training in cartooning, a twist of fate led him to collaborate with Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz in 1980. This encounter proved pivotal, making Everhart the only artist directly mentored by Schulz and the sole one legally authorized to incorporate characters and themes from Peanuts into his artwork.
