Floret Silva Nobilis from Carmina Burana sings the playful banter of Spring, of love and discovery, of the newness and wonder of Nature’s magic. This work is a preparatory drawing of two of the forty six figures featured in the monumental painting by the same title. Much attention was given to the arm and hand positions of this couple, in addition to their connecting gaze. — Shane Wolf.
