Samir Sammoun is an accomplished impressionist painter who began working with oils at the age of thirteen on his family’s 1,000-year-old olive plantation in Beirut, Lebanon. Growing up as the son of an olive grove farmer, he found constant inspiration in the surrounding landscape. After completing his studies in art, he moved to Canada to pursue a career in engineering and telecommunications. However, he returned to fine art in the late 1970s and has continued to create ever since.
His works are displayed in museums worldwide and are part of both corporate and private collections. Samir’s artistry, warm personality, and expertise in capturing beauty and emotion on canvas have attracted a dedicated following of art collectors worldwide. He currently resides and works in Montreal, Canada.
