Picasso created this sunny and whimsical exhibition poster to commemorate an exhibition in Vallauris, France, in 1958. Picasso lived in Vallauris from 1948 to 1955, working in a ceramic studio owned by Suzanne and Georges Raime. In Vallauris, he developed a fascination with ceramics and linocuts and was prolific in creating an incredible body of work.
