He is a contemporary American painter known for his loosely brushed yet nimbly executed depictions of figures in interior settings. His paintings often focus on intimate moments of sensual pleasure and introspection, and his subjects are often women, either alone or in pairs. Liepke’s work is notable for its use of light and shadow, as well as its rich and vibrant colors.
