Nechita is very passionate about public art. In the summer of 2005, Nechita presented her massive 16-foot-tall bronze monument titled “Let There Be Peace” to the people of Singapore, which is permanently housed in the sculpture garden at the National Museum of Singapore.
Most recently, in the spring of 2021, Nechita donated Love Anatomy, a 9-foot bronze sculpture, to the city of Beverly Hills that sits at the corner of Rexford and Burton Way. Welcoming visitors as they drive down Burton Way, the impressive piece of art is undoubtedly timely, as the city could use an inspiring symbol of unity. In the future, Nechita plans to unveil a mural at the famous corner of Hollywood and Highland in collaboration with The Hollywood Partnership and Arts Bridging The Gap.
These are just some of the accolades she has earned in her 25-year career as an artist. Her work has consistently reflected personal feelings. Nechita uses intimacy and storytelling as the lenses through which she explores her creative voice.
