Off the Wall Gallery is thrilled to announce a very special event to celebrate the Houston Astros victory in the 2017 World Series, with the unveiling of an amazing piece of art by Opie Otterstad – one of the sporting world’s most celebrated artists. Opie is well known for his ability to paint the spirit of the athletes, the fans, the teams and their victories. He is as much a part of the athletic world as those who wear the numbers.
This exhibition features a large collection of original artwork, limited editions, close up and personal images of the entire season at home and on the road, and the MLB-sanctioned artist’s key piece: HOUSTON CELEBRATION 2017.
This painting and other works capturing the historic Astros’ win, for the first time ever, is housed in an exhibition open and complimentary to the public from March 31st through April 15th, 2018.
