Alexandra Nechita
From a very young age, Alexandra Nechita has been hailed as a true artistic force. Alexandra was born in Romania and immigrated to the United States at one and a half years old. She began drawing as a toddler and held her first solo exhibition in Los Angeles at the age of seven. Her talent was instantly recognized, and art critics and the media alike began telling the world about this rare child prodigy, a “Petit Picasso,” a master of line, color, and a visual language of her own. Today, Nechita is globally acclaimed for her monumental paintings and sculptures.
Since then, her work has developed to encompass her growth and transitions into adulthood, motherhood, and simply as a humanist on a profound and endless search for a greater purpose. Each piece expresses her sentiments and is the prism through which she continues to express her creative vocabulary.
Alexandra’s work has been displayed internationally, including exhibitions in Romania, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, France, England, Singapore, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. Her art also sits in the permanent collections of museums throughout the world, including the Vatican Collection in Rome and The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Alexandra’s work is also in the private collections of A-list celebrities: Oprah Winfrey, Debra Messing, Melissa Etheridge, Calvin Klein, Whoopi Goldberg, and David Letterman.
