Happy Thanksgiving!
Dear Friends & Collectors,
In the spirit of Gratitude, we give thanks for your support.
This year was challenging and heartbreaking for many; we feel blessed to keep going strong despite all the uncertainty 2020 brought upon the world.
Due to Covid19, Off The Wall closed for five weeks in the first half of the year while we had just started constructing our brand new L’Atelier Off The Wall. As you can imagine, it wasn’t an easy time for a small business to survive a lockdown and new construction at the same time. For precaution, we closed again, temporarily, during human rights protests in Houston.
We recently took a leap of faith and time off to re-do the Main Gallery floors and walls. We wanted to bring in fresh new energy into the New Year – We all need that! It was a big effort but worth it. The Gallery looks beautiful, we are very happy with the result, and we hope you’ll enjoy the new look as much as we do.
We’ve been keeping busy all along and added exciting, worldly and museum artists to our growing art collection: Dale Chihuly, Marlene Rose, Todd Gray, Geoffrey Gersten, Ramon Vilanova, to name a few. We’ve introduced a very cool, free virtual tool that allows you to try a painting on your wall using augmented reality from your mobile device. Our web presence has increased, and our Art Fairs participation has gone virtual, and we are getting ready to launch our new e-commerce Gallery, “Shop Off The Wall” in the coming weeks.
More than ever, as we spend more time at home, art has become such an important part of life, our days, our surroundings, and inner peace. I personally believe that art can heal.
So whether you spend time with your family and friends in person or by Zoom, we wish you a safe, healthy, and beautiful Thanksgiving and Holiday Season!
With much Gratitude,
Mimi & Off The Wall Team
